We started from the bottom… now we’re here
What up y'all, feeling good man, 2nd blog post… Got a lot happening behind the scenes, can’t wait for it all to drop. We’re gonna keep it short and sweet. You can waste time training like a High Schooler or you can really utilize your time and train with intent.
Most people go into the gym and lift like a bodybuilder, 1 body part a day. For most people, this is really “anti-your-goals” And if you’re a new lifter you need overall experience in your muscles… we call it “Training Age”. In your first couple of years, doing legs once a week is not a good use of your time. If you are just starting out…. Total body training is the move. If you’re an athlete… especially in high school… Total body is the way.
Once you’re past a few years, then start working some 2 part splits in.. I like Chest and Back… Legs and Shoulders 2 times a week, that’s ideal also for athletes who need to mix in movement. Then after a bit of that… You can get in 1 body part a day in your training. Now your muscles are in a position to handle the volume (reps) and load (weight) it will take to get results. But you really gotta pay dues a little bit first. It’s a journey, you got time.
In fact, I'm starting my next phase 2moro… So we’ll see how that goes. 1 Part a day…
